My profile:

Q: How do I register?
A: Click on "Join Companybook" in the upper right-hand corner. Once you have filled out the short form, and been approved, you'll receive a confirmation by email.
 
Q: How can I edit my personal profile?
A: When logged in, you have a personal area in the top right, accessible from every page. Click on "My Account" and in the drop down select "Settings".
 
Q: How do I become connected to the company I work for?
A: When on a company page, click the "I work here" button to connect to that company. Once verified, the company will show up under "My Companies" (beneath "Home" in the top menu). 
 
Q: I have more than one company. Do i need a profile for each?
A: No. On your profile page you can add as many email addresses to your user profile as you need. Make sure the email addresses you add are personal to you and have company specific domains (e.g. yourname@companyname.com) as this is what identifies you as an employee.
 

My company:

Q: Who can activate a company?
A: Anyone can activate a company. If you feel that you have the right to activate a company, click "I work here" on the company page. Registering with your company email will accelerate the process.
 
Q: I don't find my company. What can I do?
A: The companies on Companybook are obtained from official registers through third-party vendors. Some smaller companies may not be included yet. We do not add companies manually. Remember that a company may be registered under a different name, e.g. a holding company.
 
Q: How do I edit my company showroom?
A: Several templates can be used for the showroom. You need to be adminstrator for the company in order to edit a showroom (in your company administration area). Click "Home">"My Companies" in the upper right-hand corner, then click on your 'company name' under "Companies I administrate", and click "Edit Company" in the upper left-hand corner. 
 
Q: How do I comment on my company financial information?
A: Every numeric item of financial information can be commented. To do this, just click on the number and write a comment.
 
Q: How do I report errors in the company information?
A: You can edit errors about your company once you have registered with Companybook. As an administrator you can edit most errors. Keep in mind however that most of our data is sourced from our trusted partners, and changing it may not be within our control (e.g. news and finance). 
 
Q: How do I create a group?
A: Groups can be created under the main company tab "Business Networking" > "Other groups".
 
Q: Can a company have more than one administrator?
A: A company can have as many administrators as you like, so long as they have been accepted as belonging to the company. The administrator (by default, the first person claiming the company) can go into "Edit Company" from the company page and click on "Administrators". Here you can add, remove or change administrators from amongst the people registered for your company.

Q: How can I follow a company?
A: When on a company page, click on "Follow Company". The company will now show up in "Home">"My Companies" under "Companies I'm following". You can follow as many companies as you like, regardless of whether you work there or not.
 
Q: Can I invite users from other companies to my company groups?
A: Yes.
